The mission of the Akron Art Museum is to enrich lives through modern and contemporary art. The Museum manifests this commitment by: promoting the awareness, interest, appreciation, education, and participation in the fine and applied arts produced since 1850.

The Akron-Summit County Public Library provides resources for learning and leisure, information services, meeting spaces, and programs for all ages that support, improve, and enrich individual, family, and community life.
